DIY Macrame Pattern: Wall Hanging
This macrame wall hanging is great for learning the art of macrame and having a finished piece to admire after! It will also hold an air plant if you wish! Get your supplies and knot away!
This pattern is for a beginner. Macrame is so very relaxing. Come knot with me!
You will need:
- 15-18" wooden dowel or driftwood, anything bigger works too.
- your color choice of 80 ft of cotton rope (4-5mm, purchase from local craft store, modernmacrame.com, niromastudio.com, or search etsy.com!)
- bead (opening at least an 1 inch)
- scissors
- tape measure/ruler
- place to work
The finished hanger measures: ~17" by 35"
The knots you will learn:
- larks head knot
- square knot
- switch knot
